Title: Borrowed Sett
Fandom: Harry Potter (holy shit gais)
Rating: PG
Pairing: Remus/Sirius
Word Count: 986
Summary: Sirius' grand plans move onto outer wear.
A/N: Written for [livejournal.com profile] marilla82, who stumped me in the Stump the Writer meme and then gave me the randomest prompt ever in 'paper towels.' She knows how long it's been since I've written HP, and she's been trying to poke me back into it for ages. Well you win damnit! You. Win. Expect Regulus soon. :(

At what point did your brain say ‘this is a sound idea, Sirius Black, you are certainly a god among men’ and give in to this madness? )

Today I learned that I am apparently comfortable ANYWHERE in a book store that isn't the Romance section.

I've been doing research at Dorchester and Harlequin and the like to try and find the 'type' of romance that the Nano Novel of Doom will fall into if I stick to the plan. The closest I've come up with was the Sillhouette Bombshell imprint out of Harlequin, because the imprint I would be writing towards for Dorchester doesn't exist yet and won't until next year. The Sillhouette Bombshell imprint claims to be about women saving the day, with romance in the story, but not in the heart of it. I was down for that. Hell, I'll try aything once so long as it's proven not to kill me, so I pulled a list of authors off the site and took my little sticky note to the Barnes and Noble to do some shopping.

As my luck would have it, they didn't have anything by any of those authors at the bookstore, so I was left staring at shelves and shelves of covers with hunky chests and fields of flowers and noir like legs. In that instant all of those books that I knew I didn't want to read became 'the others'. And I'm sure Sartre is rolling in his grave for my misappropriation of his great idea. But yes. It also doesn't help that in my Barnes and Noble the Romance section is right around the corner to the Manga section and my eyes kept slipping over to the Saiyuki covers. Not that I've ever read that title, but those types of guys are more my speed, if I'm going for gratuitous eye candy. And really, couldn't I learn just as much about romance from watching Samurai X again?

The book I settled on looks like it will be a quick read, and it has Vampires in it, which is the closest I could find to what I wanted to do. It isn't actually close to what I want to do at all, but there you have it. I also noticed that there are TONS of romances about vampires. There were a few about ghosts, and one abot a woman who's the keeper of the Chalice of Eternal Youth, but nothing even close to what I have planned. And why vampires? Sure, vampires are hot, but lets mix it up. What about a love triangle that includes a werewolf and banshee? Why are all the ancient gods so lonely all of a sudden? And where on earth does a djinn get a good cup of tea and a shag? Seriously guys.

And now for some chaste Remus/Sirius... )

Title: Sex and Sandwiches
Rating: R-ish
Author's Notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] shaggydogstail over at [livejournal.com profile] joint_gifts. Kocked over by my favorite internet stalkee, [livejournal.com profile] brak4werewolves, who is also the center of creation for Harry’s dialogue, because I don’t know shite about two year olds. :p
Warnings: Mentionings of male bits really close to other male bits…the lack of which would probably be more frightening to anyone here.

That's not a man Harry, that's a ghost. )

RIP The Reefs. Shall have to go to the surf shop tomorrow and get more. [/cry]

Waldorf: Hey, I heard Donald Rumsfeld went to see Jarhead.
Statler: Really? What did he think?
Waldorf: No one knows, he's still in the theatre. He doesn't have an exit strategy!

Haha, the men in the balcony from the Muppets. They snark, they gibe, and they review some movies. They even review Goblet of Fire. Go!! Now!!

Yes, so I wasn't going to post tonight. But Berd, she asked for drabble. Actually, she asked me to work on Part two of The Closet Door, but I can't do that with good conscious during NaNo. So here, here is some drabble instead.

Title: Glances
Word Count: 290
Rating: PG
Summary: Something between Sirius and Remus is eating at Peter, if only he knew what. Based slightly off of [livejournal.com profile] communiquills in that Peter doesn't know there.

The glances were contagious. )

MM...let me know, yeah?

Title: It All Comes Down To This
Author: [livejournal.com profile] katilara
Rating: PG, I think. I don't think smoking garners the 13, but it may.
Warnings: Mentions of slash. Spoiler for HBP.
Brief summary: Regulus steals the locket and centers his thoughts around his brother rather than think about what he's done.
Challenge (if you used one): #24. Sirius and Regulus - a brother's story
Word Count: 2,411
Author's Notes: I wrote this for [livejournal.com profile] sirius_loving and based it mildly on prompt #4 from [livejournal.com profile] royal_almost. Beta'd by my lovelies, [livejournal.com profile] brak4werewolves and [livejournal.com profile] marilla82.

*Fan art of the beautiful sort based on this fic can be found here. If you're reading this, please go let the artist know what you think of it.*

Cross-posted to [livejournal.com profile] regulations, [livejournal.com profile] remusxsirius, [livejournal.com profile] sirius_loving, and [livejournal.com profile] royal_almost. Sorry for the spam. :p

And in the end we all fall down. )

There will be a full TWH post later tonight or tomorrow when I can collect all my pics. It will be 8 million pages long, so everyone warm up your PC's. :p For now though I remembered that I never posted this anywhere and since it's past the date of when I could archive it elsewhere than the S/R FQF, I am. You can't stop me!

Author Name: [livejournal.com profile] katilara
Title: Les Lettres
Rating: NC17...possibly.
Summary:Sirius is dragged away on holiday by his family during the summer after fifth year and he writes to Remus about the general goings on. It turns out that things aren't exactly as boring as he'd imagined they'd be.
Author's Notes: I really didn't want this to be like most of the other letter things that I'd read. Not that there's anything wrong with them, but I have a phobia of being a biter. (Plus [livejournal.com profile] brak4werewolves would have stopped snogging me if I bit her format. :P) Feel free to let me know if you think I should stick to the biting. :p Beta'd by the lovely [livejournal.com profile] marilla82.

I'm buggered, that's what I am! )

Title: Moon Gazing
Author: [livejournal.com profile] katilara
Ratings: G
Pairings/Characters: R/S, Ickle Harry
Summary: Harry learns that Remus never watches the moon with him and Sirius because of his lycanthropy. He decides that he's going to be the one to cure it.
Disclaimer: All characters belong to JK Rowling, that lucky, lucky duck.
A/N: [livejournal.com profile] marilla82 may in fact own my soul. But that's neither here nor there since she's also a great beta. :p Written for the Raising Harry ficathon, so it's AU. Sorry I didn't mention that before.

Fic for [livejournal.com profile] alazysod (AKA emerald_123) for the [livejournal.com profile] hp_tradeoff who likes R/S/R and ties. I apologize if it's not exactly R/S/R. I can write you a different one if you like.

Title: Ties That Bind (Well, THAT was creative. Hehe)
Summary/Subject matter: Regulus has an obsession.
Pairing(s): Sirius/Remus and Regulus
Rating: Probably R, maybe NC-17. I'm bad with ratings.
Link or LJ cut: It all started with the ties. )

Pairing(s): Sirius/Remus
