Ugh. You guys.
theemdash is trying to use up all my creativity before I turn 30. She may have talked me into doing a web comic of some sort. (And by talked me into I mean I made up a character and she went 'I think we should...' You all know I'm easy.) So yes. Our characters are the awesomest characters. They also have the daffishest hats.
THURSDAY! VLOG DAY. In which I do a dance, eat diabetes, and talk about guilty pleasures. What are your guilty pleasures flist? And if you don't have any, why or why not?
Comment, subscribe, boom de yada.

Date: 2009-03-26 11:43 am (UTC)Ho w many hours did I spend, glued to youtube and its silly videos about Frank being tiny and about his band being dorks? I don't even know.
Guilty pleasures.
I don't know if I really have any. I tend to be pretty open about me being a ridiculous fangirl.
I do have one guilty pleasure, on second thought.
I love spending my weekends in bed and don't even bother to shower. I stay in my sweatpants and write about silly bandoys having sex with each other. That might count as a not-so-guilty pleasure of mine.

Date: 2009-03-26 06:47 pm (UTC)I'm pretty open about my ridiculousness too. It works well to keep people who would be too boring for me well away. ;) And oh man, I would love to spend a weekend in bed.

Date: 2009-03-26 06:48 pm (UTC)You know, I've never read a tie in novel. I keep thinking I should, but then I wuss out. Though, I did listen to David Tennant read a Doctor Who tie in novel.

Date: 2009-03-26 01:02 pm (UTC)Guilty pleasures... I think the biggest one, that is kind of silly, but not actually guilty, is the way I keep talking to myself all the time. Okay, so everybody does that, but I do this thing where whenever I'm alone I act out scenes from stories I'm planning or whatever -- sometimes I'll sit down for an interview, other times I'm, like, having a chat with Gerard Way or something, whatever -- but it's kind of like the playacting you used to do as a kid. Except in English. And it involves a lot more adult concepts. It really helps developing dialogue, though, and voices of different people, not to mention I can get as melodramatic and stupid as I can be, before I even think about putting the scene on paper.
Guilty, because I can't explain it without sounding insane, and for a moment I forget I'm me, and my characters can use my voice for whatever they want.

Date: 2009-03-26 06:51 pm (UTC)And I do that too. Associate people with their icons. But no, I've never had brown hair. And right now I'm contemplating just going back to the natural color the next time I need to dye it. I kind of miss it.
Hee. I do that too, but mostly in my head. Or I'll write out the convos or write out a reply as the character. It's not any easier to explain. :p
