Hm...there's this character Em and I have been toying with called Mission LePont. Right now we're thinking of doing a paper doll sort of three panel comic sort of thing for him. It would be something kind of flip though, and not take up a lot of time, because our first love is the steampunk and that needs to be tweaked and finished like woah.
(I saw something on a romance blog last month or so that was talking about what publishers were looking for and the answer was: steampunk, steampunk, steampunk. Which doesn't surprise me, it just shows me I need to work faster, though. We're what? A year and a half since I had the idea and Em attacked me and told me she wanted to help me make it real, and we haven't done that much actual writing. Need to light a fire.)
I know how you feel about there only being so much time. Yargh.
And I don't know that we could make a 'medieval' world 'steampunk'. It's too far back, too far away from the inventions and machines that those sorts of alternative histories are grounded in. I do, however, think we could come up with some other sort of kick ass alternative history for a medieval time period. We'd just need to play with it.
