Well, I mean, if
marilla82 says so it must be ok! ;)
I was a baaaad girl today. Not only did I join
bleach_quickies, but I signed up for the
100bleach with the Sixth Division. (Byakuya, Renji and Rikichi for the win!) I know. *hides* But the 100 can be drabbles, so it's not going to be some insurmountable task. At least, I hope not. I have 3 months to write 100 drabbles. I can do that, right? And to get started, I did something this morning for
bleach_quickies.
Basically for the quickies you choose one of five prompts and use the characters that are open, and then it has to be a drabble of 200 words or less and NC17. This week it's anyone in an even numbered division. I quite liked doing Rikichi, and I think he deserves more hugs!
Title: Strength
Prompt: Tree
Words: 166
Characters: Renji/Rikichi
Trees represent strength, Rikichi thinks, as he straddles Renji's lap and runs his fingers over the branch like lines on Renji's chest. Renji is undeniably strong, and that's one of the reasons Rikichi idolizes him so. One day I'll be strong too. Rikichi whimpers a bit as Renji thrusts his hips up, moving even deeper inside of him. He bites his lip, trying not to show weakness in the presence of the power that inspires him. I'll let him mold me, and then I can be strong like him.
"Does it hurt too much?" Renji whispers into Rikichi's ear, arms going around the thin shoulders to bring Rikichi closer.
"N-no," Rikichi gasps, and tries to mimick Renji's movement, which brings some pleasure to the pain. He shudders and Renji laughs.
"My strong, beautiful Rikichi," he purrs. And the words make Rikichi shudder again, make him want to do anything for Renji. Because, while he's certain Renji isn't speaking the truth, it sounds like a self-fulfilling prophecy.
...
I read in the Publisher's Weekly today that there was a new manga coming out in March called Solfege, which is funny because that's almost what I named TS. It's a technique to learn the sight reading of vocal music, and I liked it with Spike having to learn to read the past and present in his eyes. BUT, it's also by Fumi Yoshinaga, who did Antique Bakery. I looked the mangaka up and the stories all seem to be along the same lines. I would be interested to read Gerard and Jacques though. Boy love and the French Revolution!! What's better than that?
Please world, I would like it if my new check card came in tomorrow so I could buy a tire. Herm. SO going to bed early tonight!!
ETA- Note to self: KL, you NEED to find as much John Barrowman music as possible because he is the PERFECT MAN. SRSLY.

Oooh, new stuff from the AS person? Sounds like something to check out in March!

Date: 2007-02-21 03:33 am (UTC)I know, I'm going to have to write it down somewhere so I remember to look for it. I'm halfway through the first AB right now.
Did you read AS yet?

Date: 2007-02-21 05:47 am (UTC)Actually--I still have scanlations of all of Gerard et Jacques and the first few chapters of Solfege, back from before they were licensed. Do you want me to upload them for you? Not to preclude you buying the actual manga or anything, of course--just so you can have a look at them before you spend money on them. XD

Date: 2007-02-21 02:45 pm (UTC)Erg, I should have asked if you wanted scans of the Antique Bakery doujinshi too. Fumi Yoshinaga did four or five of them with various pairings of Ono, Tachibana, and Chikage. (No Eiji; I guess she doesn't see him as the type.) Only one of them is actually translated, though--the rest are in the original Japanese.

Date: 2007-02-21 10:41 pm (UTC)Kouzaka no Ehon is the scanlated one, and could pretty much be summarized as "yaoi fangirls invade Antique Bakery". :D
Don't worry--I spent so long hunting these down myself that now I'm happy to share them with whoever might want them!
