NaNoWriMo started last night at midnight and it was great! I actually was out at a write-in/count down event last night, which means I got about 1500 words in before I finally made it home and collapsed into my bed. I feel vaguely accomplished and stoked about the possibility of getting more done tonight. My final sentence last night at 1:01AM read: He wiped his prints off the gun, removed his sneakers, and went back downstairs in his stockinged feet to retrieve the pizzas.
For those of you who are new, last year I did a Picture Prompt A Day and people seemed to really enjoy having those to think about if not write to, so I'm going to do it again this year.
