I have not deserted you all, by the by. I've just been busy and confused and haven't known what to say. A real post about writing and possibly some fic to follow later this evening.

By "cow", d'you mean my mother who no longer speaks to me? :P Anyway, all's good -- I actually updated my LJ the other day -- but omfg, it's cold this morning. And I have to go stand outside in it for an hour. NOT SO YAY.

I saw. That is an impressive amount of cold. It's like, 47* here right now and I'm just so excited that it's no longer in the 70s. This has been a miserable winter, heat wise.

But please don't freeze to death!

I just got back in, and really, it's not too bad. There's almost no wind, and the sun's out, so it's cold, but it's not that weird awful dampness that gets right into your bones. The kids here are sort of impervious to it, I think -- I saw one girl in what looked like Hello Kitty pajama pants! But then I don't get the whole pajamas-are-street-clothes trend. I'm probably hopelessly old-fashioned like that.

Me too. And I'm actually rather stoked, because I was just thinking that I wished I had time for Idol, but I don't think I'm going to this year.

Yeah, I'm not sure I'll have time for the real season either, given it sounds like it won't be starting for another few months. I'll likely be travelling a fair bit then. So this shorter version should suit me a lot better. I was lucky I managed to get my intro up already too, because I'm going away this weekend! XD

Thanks! Not gonna lie, I missed it last season, but I just don't think I can handle the time involved. This seems like a good way to meet in the middle and get my toes wet while keeping up with my other stuff.
