Science makes me feel tingly in my lady parts. (Because I guess ALL of my parts are lady parts.)

I just saw the most horrifying Teen Wolf gif. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK, TUMBLR? WHY DO YOU DO THESE THINGS TO ME? Anyway, this is not about how Tumblr is apparently trying to smoke me out via Teen Wolf gifs or something, this is about BATMAN. I know, you're all surprised.

On Sunday we recorded our last Batcon episode of the podcast. Those should start going up at the end of this week. And I think I mentioned before that I wanted to write a post for the Big Girl Blog on Five Batman Movies I Want To See, so I'm here to do a little science by way of LJ Poll. What? LJ Polls are totally scientific.

[Poll #1852978]

This is unlocked, so share it if you like. FOR SCIENCE! In conclusion, I would like Kate Kane to be my girlfriend. The end.

I answered honestly, Batman Forever is my favorite, but the BEST ONE, imo is The Dark Knight. I mean, I love the fuck out of all the cheese of Batman Forever, but it's ridiculous, puntastic, and it's not my version of Batman. (Also Val Kilmer is not My Batman.)

As for Bruce... I think he can be shitty, but it always depends which version of Bruce we're looking at. I like the Bruce we see in the Nolan films. He's complicated and feels like a real person and not like such a colossal dick who adopts orphans to turn them into mirror images of himself. (I also like Bruce through Dick's eyes because while Dick as an adult can see that Bruce is flawed, he'd do anything for him because he loves him and he gets what he's trying to do, despite how badly he sometimes does it.)

I'm pretty sure Val Kilmer isn't Val Kilmer's Batman either, but like we discussed, HOW DO YOU SAY NO TO BEING BATMAN? Shit. I'd be Batman if someone asked.

I agree about Bruce in the Nolan-verse. Probably because he's not screwing up the lives of impressionable young children. And Dick's love and reverence for Bruce is honestly one of the reasons I like Dick so much. As far as experiments in seat of your pants child rearing go, Dick Grayson turned out okay.
