The Calvinist church sounds amazingly confusing to me, especially that fiddly bit there about having repercussions and then apparently taking them away because there's already a guest list of somesort.

Does the church have their own Bible or Manual or something one can skim through to get an idea of what the basics are? Like the Mormons have their Book of Mormon, etc? I'm curious, but am not willing to trust Wikipedia on anything re: religion at this point.
