I wish I could work on stuff during work. I've finally learned to take my lunch hour, and take myself away from my cube and hide in the empty office and literally shut the door.
After doing this several weeks, I have my mystery plotted out, and have progressed wonderfully on ballet boy.
Of course i was writing this and the boss trots into my cube.
Anyway! Somedays, that's all I get is that one hour at lunch. Time just gets away from me...now that I am staying later though cuz of taking lunch hour, I note my boss always leaves around 4-4:30...I conceivably could very easily without anyone being the wiser turn that last 30-minutes to an hour into additional writing time. That is the next game plan.
I really hate having to bill all my time. UGH!
I want lessons on making a medieval world turn steampunk. It would be so cool I think to make my historical fantasy go steam. But HOW does one do that and make it beautiful? Mmmm...
