The art for the icon is by crystal_cow who posted it oh, nearly a year ago to remusxsirius. I fell in love with it and got permission to make an icon (crediting her). All I did was resize it and add the gold-and-mahogany strips on the side. (Wish I'd remembered the Gryffindor colors were gold and scarlet but it's close enough).
I wish she'd post more of her art, she's wonderful! (Did an awesome dragon on her wall, too).
